About: Cyndee's Portfolio
Hello!
I want to tell you a little something about me, what I do, and the things I have studied. I will share with you the projects that I have created in the past few years while earning my Master’s degree in Education and Human Development - Information Learning Technologies with focus on eLearning Design and Implementation (MA-Ed ILT) through the University of Colorado – Denver (UCD) .
During these years I have soaked up a lot of information from my professors and mentors. I have woven this knowledge into my applied projects as you will see. I love learning and working with people. I want my work to help people perform their jobs well with new skills and techniques, or for students to learn about new ideas, technologies, and cultures.
Design is my life! Color, line, layout, shapes, organization, and processes are all important to me. I love designing instructional materials as much as creating fine art drawings, paintings, glasswork, graphic arts, and knitting.
Storytelling is a big part of any design work and within my work I hope you will find some interesting stories.
My recent professional work has taken me to the east and west coasts to help design and develop courseware for the US Navy, Marines, and Coast Guard. I have written and developed computer-based, web-based, instructor-led, and blended courses for F/A-18 Fighter Pilot and Weapons Aircrew Training, KC-130J aircraft pilot and maintenance training curriculum. and three (3) rates of Coast Guard: Aviation Survival Technicians, Avionics Electrical Technicians, and Aviation Maintenance Technicians. I have taught technical high school courses at the Metropolitan Learning Alliance (Mall of America High School) and created many courses for the financial, services, and insurance divisions of CUNA Mutual Group. My project management experience includes U.S. Coast Guard, Braun Elevator and Kraft Foods. I have created multimedia courseware for South Central Technical College and also for Datex-Ohmeda, now General Electric. An operating business and financial database was designed, created, and implemented for Southern Elevator Company.
